Hello and welcome. I am so glad you are here. I’m Dana, a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT). I am proud and excited to support the communities I have such a strong connection to. My past careers have given me the pleasure of working in healthcare, specifically with children diagnosed with Autism. My education and hands-on work have shown me how unique each person is. I am incredibly grateful for the insights I have gained. In my day-to-day life, you can find me spending time with family and friends, exploring local farmers’ markets, or working on crochet projects.
My intention as a therapist is to support clients as they navigate challenging times, building confidence and self-worth along the way. I use an integrative, trauma-informed, emotionally focused approach to counselling, recognizing that everyone has unique experiences. Every person’s journey is special, and I aim to be a helpful guide on your path to personal growth.
